How does delivery work?
Once an order has been verified we start the process of pulling, packaging and dispatching the items.
Depending on the date a customer places the order with us.
Parcels depart the very next day from when an order was placed dependent on the average delivery lead time. Each customer is then sent a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number. During the distribution cycle the number can be used to track the package at any time.
Delivery Lead Times
We indicate our lead times specifically for each product for main cities. This can be found on the product page.
If a delivery lead time indicated is longer than 5 Days, this means that we do not have stock currently in our warehouse and awaiting stock from our suppliers.
Where do we deliver?
We distribute to the whole of South Africa, countrywide! Omninela Medical has you supported for the delivery process if you are from big towns to the smallest of remote areas.
When can you expect your order?
The below time frames are our average delivery times. If you have an urgent order please contact us and we will do all we can to deliver as far as possible the same day or overnight.
Orders made over the weekend
Orders made over the weekend will be processed on the weekend but will leave our facility on the next available working day. Average delivery times will apply as of the next available working day
Regional Areas(locations outside of major cities and metropolises)
The package will then arrive at your chosen location within 5 working days.
Remote Areas(areas located in an isolated location, far from major cities or towns)
Couriers prefer to visit remote areas on some days of the week so we'll dispatch once your order is confirmed and it can take anywhere between 3-7 working days.
Public holidays
We are closed during public holidays and your order will leave our facility on the next available working day. Average delivery times will apply as of the next available working day.
Inventory of Stock
All delivery lead times on our site are the average based on stock location and your delivery address.
We have three locations in which stock is held being; Western Cape, Gauteng and Kwa-zulu Natal. If we do not have stock that is nearest to you. Omninela transfers stock from a location that has stock directly to our head office in KZN before dispatching to your desired delivery address
Bulk Orders by Weight
Orders over 25 kg in weight will incur an additional bulk weight charge for every item over 25 kg. Alternatively the customer can arrange it's own collection for Bulk Orders once Omninela has cleared the stock is ready for collection.
Which courier service do we use?
We make use of Pargo, Aramex, DHL, CourierIt, Fastway, MDS Collivery, The Courier Guy and Dawn Wing. Our network works out the perfect courier for your region to carry out the delivery.
How much do you charge for delivery?
- We offer FREE Delivery for all orders over R1000
- For orders below R1000 we charge a R99 additional delivery fee.
- Orders greater than 10 kgs in weight will be subject to approval and delivery rates generated from our courier partners
Do you deliver to the Post Office?
No. Since of the South African Postal Service's erratic service delivery, we only deliver to street addresses, and tend to use only couriers. Because of this someone would need to be at the delivery address to sign on delivery for the parcel. If no one is available, either later on that day or the next day the courier will return.
Pre-Orders
Orders will be processed dependent on each items scheduled arrival time to our fulfillment center. We will communicate in advance by means of advertisement, our website, SMS and email regarding the expected date your item will be available for delivery. Average delivery times will apply once expected delivery dispatch date is communicated.
Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes?
No. All parcels shipped must be signed to ensure that they arrive safely at the desired destination address. If you don't have a home or work address where anyone may sign up for a parcel then we suggest sending it to a friends ' office, company or a friend's or family's home address.
What happens if I listed the wrong address or want to change the address?
If you put your order on the same day, please contact us and supply us with the correct / new address and we will update it for you. If you put the order more than 1 day before your deadline, you will sadly be charged an extra delivery fee.
Will the parcel be safe?
Yes. For added security, each product is packaged in a suitably shaped box with protective bubble wrap. Our labeled boxes and Omninela Medical protective tape are then secured to the package. Our couriers take great care in handling parcels to ensure we hold delicate parcels away from large, bulky parcels.
Returns
To submit a return please visit our returns portal and follow the instructions to submit your return.
You will need the following;

We believe you'll be 100 percent happy with your order, but you may need to return an item occasionally. Whether it is in its original state, totally unused, and perfect for resale, you can cancel your order and return it to us within 30 days of the purchase date. Until the item arrives to us, you will be responsible for the item or products and we recommend you use a safe delivery system (which includes a signature upon delivery).
Refunds shall be issued within one week of the cancelation of an order and the goods returned to us along with the initial receipt.
The full manufacturers guarantee for the entire contract period covers all of our products sold 100 per cent. Our insurance includes all manufacturing errors and problems resulting from poor / improper usage are not covered. Goods found to be faulty can be substituted for the same product only, and can not be refunded.
Previous Notices:
Festive Period 2023
Orders for selected products and brands placed after 20 December will be shipped after 4 January due to certain suppliers being closed over the festive period.
During this period there will be delivery delays, so the usual delivery times, collection availability and same day delivery do not apply.
Any orders received after 15:00 on Thursday the 22nd December will be affected by this.
We will however have skeleton staff working on the 28 - 30 December 2022 to process orders during this time.
We will have normal delivery service levels from the 4th January 2023.

National Shutdown Protest 20 March 2023
Omninela and our delivery partners are closely monitoring developments around a potential national shutdown on Monday 20 March 2023.
Should it go ahead, our ability to affect timeous and prompt service on March 20th could be hampered.
All orders received from 16 March will be delivered but we ask for your patience and understanding if any disruption does occur to our usual delivery lead times.
This will be assessed on an area-by-area basis.
