Omninela.co.za and Lotus FM: The need for a online Health Platform
By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - An online medical devices company, founded by two KwaZulu-Natal brothers, is fast growing to become a leading eCommerce health platform in South Africa.
Ricardo and Nicolas Lognath founded Omninela in 2017 while still being engineering students at the Durban University of Technology. The brothers medical online store, which specializes in smart health devices, offers over five thousand products in various categories.
Since its launch, the platform has gone on to partner with some the country's leading medical aid schemes and won the iLembe Chamber of Commerce's entrepreneur competition Iast year.
